Robert MacKenroth

Chief Executive Officer

Robert MacKenroth leads First Power Capital with more than 30 years in power generation, spanning project execution, commissioning, EPC delivery, secondary-market equipment, and owner-side advisory. He has built and commissioned 190 gas turbine units — from LM2500s and LM6000s to Frame 7s — and led projects from $65 million to more than $500 million, directing teams of 250+ in demanding environments.

That record shapes how he runs the company. Power projects don’t fail for lack of vision — they fail when procurement, schedule reality, and commercial judgment fall out of alignment. Robert has spent his career keeping those forces aligned, including recovering stalled schedules and pulling commercial operation (COD) forward by 30 and 45 days on separate projects.

His approach is direct: define the issue, evaluate the options, establish the path forward. Under his leadership, First Power Capital pairs that execution discipline with the capital to secure critical equipment before the open market does.
